Personal Biography:George Boyle was born to Harvey and Jessica Boyle in Dallas Texas on the 23rd of January 2133. His father was a transport pilot and his mother was a civil engineer. When George was five he was dropped off to spend the summer with his maternal grandfather, Edward Henderson a lunar geologist. On the trip back to earth George’s parent were killed when their transports engines failed. George Boyle was raised on the Lunar Colonies by his grandfather. George was a quiet child and kept mostly to himself. Dr. Henderson wasn’t very social, but he tried to raise George as best he could. The two would spend days roaming the lunar surface and when Dr. Henderson could get transportation they would visit some of the other satellites in the solar system. He wasn’t a prodigy, but since he spent most of his free time in shuttles with a 70 year old geologist, George studied almost constantly. He was able to finish his secondary education by the age of 16. George enrolled at the University of New Berlin and studied Cosmology and Planetology. In college he remained isolated. He sat at the back of the classes and kept his head down. He had trouble getting to know his classmates. In his third year his grandfather died of heart failure. George was devastated but kept to his study habits and was able to graduate with honors. Just before graduation George was approached by a Starfleet recruiter. His science background was in demand in the fleet and George decided to sign up. It was at Starfleet Academy where George opened up. At the academy he was able to loosen up and make friends, becoming very popular among his fellow cadets. He found the structure of the fleet was just what he needed to better focus his life. At the end of his training George and a dozen other Cadets from Jupiter Station were sent on a training mission to one of the moons of Altair IV. The group was joined by an Andorian scientist named sh'Thollos. Just after landing the ice crust of the moon broke apart and many of the cadets were killed and George's roommate went insane. Cadet York attack George and sh'Thollos, the only other survivors, and destroyed the shuttlepods. The explosion caused a chain-reaction in the planets atmosphere that nearly destroyed the rescue transport. George and sh'Thollos were rescued by use of the transporter, but York could not be located after the explosion. En Route back to Earth George was transferred over to the Seawolf for transport to the Yorktown. George is a very introverted person, though he will open up to the people he cares about.
